克洛普2024年夏结束近10年利物浦执教生涯，转任红牛全球足球主管，此前他曾公开称执教皇马与自己无关。该记者透露，皇马一直是克洛普心之所向，虽他对红牛项目高度认同，但皇马与德国国家队帅位是其可能回归执教的仅两选择，前提是所有条件完全契合。
目前皇马由阿尔瓦罗·阿韦洛亚临时带队，克洛普与皇马，双方尚未开启正式接触，薪资、合同期限等细节均待协商。
